They will paint, dance, do natural tie-dye and explore other ways to express their relationships with nature.A player's daily skill point gain is calculated based on the average nutrients of all foods in a player's stomach, along with housing quality. They will immerse themselves in nature to find inspiration for painting, writing poetry, journaling, and creating music. This week’s activities will include creating musical instruments, paintings/paper Mache’, songs/dances, natural tie-dye and other interactive performances.ġst-5th grade (6-10) Campers will look to nature for artistic inspiration exploring natural dance, music making and art creation.
We will be hosting a special guest from Earth Rhythms to come in to do an interactive drum circle with the campers. They will be participating in activities involving music, movement, performance and sensory art. Preschool (3-5) This week campers will explore nature by creating different forms of art. Rather than just playing in the creek, our camper will also get to experience one of our newest programs, creek snorkeling! This week will also include activities on native plants, seed spreading/pollination and botany.Ħth grade & older – SCIENCE WEEK – This week the older campers will spend the week doing fun experiments and real world citizen science data collection that will then be uploaded to NASA’s GLOBE program. They will channel their inner culinary expertise by creating delicious recipes using the bounty found in the Eco-Camp teaching garden as well as local businesses.

Campers will experience live birds, animals and reptiles this week! Special guests, Red Creek and Dawn White, will even be bringing LIVE RAPTORS! This week’s activities will include making animal fossils, animal track matching games, identifying tracks while hiking, and designing/creating a specific animal’s home. They will learn how different animals live and what they use to make their homes. Preschoolers (3-5) This week campers will be hunting animal tracks in the wetlands, woods, and trails all throughout Angelica Park. On Friday the older kids will ride with the younger kids to Scoupe Deville Kids will need a backpack to carry their snacks, lunches, and water as we will spend as much time as possible on the trails. 2 of the days (Tuesday and Wednesday) parents will drop them off and pick up the kids from 2 remote locations for bike rides in new locations! We will be at Blue Marsh 1 day and Grings Mill another day (more details to come). * NOTE: bike rides and activities will be baseĦth grade & older This bike week, the older kids will spend the week doing many long rides. Campers will learn about safety and maintenance of their bikes from BAMBA and among other things: including our favorite Ice Cream Bike Ride where they will ride the trail to Gibraltar where they will stop at Scoop DeVille for a cool treat before returning back to The Nature Place.
